OREANDA-NEWS. May 11, 2011. Moscow Domodedovo Airport set an absolute record: 425 departures carrying more than 51 thousand passengers. Also, 404 arrivals were served. Thus, the total number of flights was as high as 829 that day.

To ensure uninterrupted service for passengers and aircraft of partner airlines, the airport has prepared and employed all necessary resources.

Moreover, the day before, on April 28, 2011, in view of a sharp increase in passenger traffic conditioned by the forthcoming holiday season, a meeting of officials representing the Airport, the Border Guard Service, the Customs Service, the Line Administration of Interior Affairs, and the Traffic Police was held at Moscow Domodedovo Airport.

The meeting clearly identified the optimal patterns for using the available resources by all relevant flight safety units and the interaction schemes for comfortable stay of passengers and visitors at the Airport.
