OREANDA-NEWS. May 12, 2011. Silvia Radu, the company’s President in Moldova, said at the press conference that the new trademark had appeared as a result of unification of the commercial labels and logotypes of the two founder companies Gas Natural Fenosa - Union Fenosa and Gas Natural merged in September 2010.

“Re-branding is taking place simultaneously in all 25 representative offices of the company. A butterfly meaning flexibility, openness, innovations, freshness, freedom and permanent movement and reflecting the company’s main positioning directions is the new symbol of the company”, said Silvia Radu. She said the company had decided not to change the legal name in Moldova, and the change in the corporate brand won’t influence quality of service.

Gas Natural Fenosa in Moldova will continue dealing only with electric power distribution, while gas supply is impossible due to the lack of infrastructure and limitation of the number of suppliers on the government’s level”, said Silvia Radu. Gas Natural Fenosa is the integrated energy enterprise working in the sector of gas and electric power distribution and electric power generation. The company is presented in 25 countries, has about 19.8 thousand employees and serves over 20.5 million clients. Its turnover worldwide totals 20 billion euros.
