OREANDA-NEWS. May 12, 2011. The bank net income in 2010 has significantly increased and made up KZT2.2 bn against KZT6.3 bn of losses in 2009, reported the press-centre of KASE.

The bank assets increased by 16% and made up KZT362 bn.

The equity capital made up KZT41.9 bn of compared with KZT39.6 bn in 2009.
                                                                    
The bank deposits increased almost by 40% and made up KZT261 bn. The bank became #1 among Kazakhstan banks on individuals deposits growth rate in the size of 70%.

The liquid funds made up 20% of assets.

Provisions made up 10.5% of the credit portfolio.

The 16% assets growth is conditioned by the active credit policy. The assets growth is by 3 times higher than the last year aggregate growth in the banking sector of Kazakhstan (4.2%).

During 2010, kaspi bank actively developed affiliates network across the country and opened more than 40 affiliates. By results of 2010, the bank takes the first place among Kazakhstan banks on opening new affiliates.

- In the post crisis period of 2010 we showed good results and our income made up KZT2.2 bn, - said the Bank Management Board Chairman Mikhail Lomtadze. - Among main achievements is the 70% growth of individuals deposits and triple increase of the operational profit with costs retained at the level of 2009. Our products are needed by the population of Kazakhstan and we opened 40 affiliates. In 2010, the operation costs did not change - KZT13.4 bn, the bank received KZT15.4 bn if compared with KZT5.3 bn received in 2009. this is one pf the best indicators in the baking system. Viyacheslav Kim, the bank Board of Directors Chairman said: "we are building the long-term business and results of 2010 are the consequence of correct financial investments".

- The trading networks will increase in 2011 in an average by 30% that proves the consumer demand increase, - said Viyacheslav Kim. - We shall grow and develop together with our clients. In 2011 we expect the assets increase by 20-30% and will propose new interesting products to our clients.

- Our important area for development is provision of banking services to the population of Kazakhstan, - added Mikhail Lomtadze. - In 2011 we will actively continue operations in other segments and provision of services to legal entities is becoming our important area.

In 2011 the bank will continue active operations on opening the bank affiliates across the country, which will work without breaks and days off.
