OREANDA-NEWS. May 17, 2011. IES-Holding will buy from ELSIB Research and Production Association 12 turbine generators for new power units under its investment program. As contracted, the equipment is scheduled for delivery in 2012 and 2013.

TF air-cooled turbine generators with a capacity ranging from 50 MW to 125 MW are intended for Kirov CHPP-3, Kirov CHPP-4, Izhevsk CHPP-1, Novocheboksarskaya CHPP-3, Vladimir CHPP-2, Nizhneturinskaya SDPP, Novobereznikovskaya CHPP, Novobogoslovskaya CHPP and Akademicheskaya CHPP in Yekaterinburg. Most of them will operate in conjunction with steam turbines as part of new steam-and-gas units. TF turbine generators designed both for cyclic and peak load operation ensure a high automation level of engineering processes and lower operating costs.

“ELSIB generators are installed at many IES plants. We know this company as a reliable partner; we have confidence in the quality of the equipment and are sure that all deliveries will be made as scheduled. Batch purchase of equipment for the new power units helps increase greatly the spending efficiency of the holding company’s investment program”, notes CJSC Integrated Energy Systems First Vice President – Operational Director Andrey Vagner.

According to OJSC ELSIB Research and Production Association Sales Director Kirill Syakov, “a package deal between IES-Holding and ELSIB enables our company to plan production and procurement on an integrated basis bringing about considerable cost reduction and ensuring timely fulfillment of contractual obligations”.

IES-Holding is implementing a large-scale program of new capacity construction in nine regions of the Russian Federation: the Kirov Region, Udmurt Republic, Chuvash Republic, Perm Territory, Sverdlovsk, Nizhny Novgorod, Vladimir, Orenburg and Samara Regions.
