OREANDA-NEWS. May 18, 2011. The Moscow International Currency Association’s III International Interbank Forum took place in Gelendzhik.

The main topic on the agenda was "Financial market today: new problems, new solutions, new  opportunities."

The participants of the Forum assessed the current post-crisis situation in the banking system, presented forecasts for the development of the Russian financial market as well as the macroeconomics as a whole. Problems of banks capitalization in the light of the new regulatory requirements, restoration of loan portfolios growth trend, bank assets profitability, risk control reinforcement, new corporate governance standards, etc., were also under discussion.

The guests of the Forum were about 250 managers and employees of commercial banks, stock exchanges, financial, brokerage, investment companies, professional associations, experts and analysts.

The geography of the Forum participants embraced such countries as Austria, Belarus, Great Britain, Germany, Latvia, Lithuania, Russia, USA, Finland, Switzerland and Estonia.
