OREANDA-NEWS. May 20, 2011. The annual KazBuild exhibition will take place in Almaty on 6-9 September in three pavilions of the Atakent Exhibition Centre.

The event will present every aspect of the construction industry. The quality of the exhibitors and continuous improvement of the level of service have received due recognition from visitors, as evidenced by the exhibition’s consistently high rate of growth. The event is organised by Iteca, together with partners from the UK, Germany, Italy, China, UAE and Turkey.

In 2011, the exhibition will bring together around 400 companies from 26 countries. By actively participating in international industry exhibitions and communicating with leading trade associations, the KazBuild team have been able to interest industry colleagues in working together in the promising Russian market. With the introduction of a single customs zone between Kazakhstan, Russia and Belarus, the organisers have noticed an increasing number of Russian exhibitors.

Several national groups that traditionally take part in the exhibition have already confirmed their participation, which shows the great interest of the international business community in the Kazakh market, as well as the prominence and prestige of the event. Visitors will be able to see the national stands of Germany, Iran, Finland, France and South Korea. For the first time, companies from Bulgaria will be presented at KazBuild by a national stand.

Aqua-Therm Almaty 2011 will be held alongside KazBuild 2011, which will bring together hundreds of companies and brands from the HVACR industry.

The business programme will, as always, be extensive and interesting. “Goods, Brands, Technologies”, the international competition of innovations in the construction industry, will take place within KazBuild 2011. The contest will present the new products in the finishing and building materials sector being offered in the Kazakh market by domestic and international companies. Continuing last year’s experience, KazBuild will also feature the 2nd GreenTerra International Landscape and Redevelopment Festival, which will include a competition of exotic plants, master classes and seminars, and free advice for visitors from experts on growing houseplants.

Official support for the events is provided by the Agency for Construction, Housing and Utilities of the Republic of Kazakhstan; Ministry of Industry and New Technologies of the Republic of Kazakhstan; Almaty City Administration; and diplomatic missions of the participating countries.

KazBuild holds “UFI Approved Event” status from the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry, which is proof of the reliability of the show’s statistics and high organisational level of the event.
