OREANDA-NEWS. May 20, 2011. Moscow Domodedovo Airport took part in the 6th Routes Europe 2011 International Aviation Forum held in Cagliari (Italy).

The annual forum Routes Europe is a unique platform for communicating and sharing practices between airlines and airports. The event addresses the major industry issues related to the development of the air transportation and the expansion of international route network. The forum was attended by major European and CIS airlines, airports and other aviation enterprises.

At the forum, Moscow Domodedovo Airport representatives negotiated with representatives of participating airlines to discuss the key issues of further cooperation. At Domodedovo Airport stand, a permanent participant of the forum, the visitors could learn about the achievements and plans of the airport and get answers to their questions.

Routes Europe 2011 was held in Cagliari, Italy, from 8 to 10 May. Major airlines and airports took part in the forum.

Moscow Domodedovo Airport is the largest airport in Russia, providing 44% of the total passenger traffic in the Moscow Aviation Hub. In 2010, the airport services were provided to 22.3 million passengers. More than 70 Russian and foreign airlines are the airport's partners. Members of such popular airline alliances as Star Alliance, oneworld and SkyTeam have chosen Moscow Domodedovo Airport for their flights to Moscow.
