OREANDA-NEWS. May 24, 2011. Ingosstrakh OJSIC became an official partner of the Award named after Nikita Kirichenko in the sphere of business journalism.

The Award in honor of an outstanding journalist and one of the founders of “Expert” magazine, Nikita Vadimovich Kirichenko, was established in 2004 right after his sudden death on December 31, 2003. Its purpose is to find and encourage the best journalists who write about economy and finances, and it is the highest special award, which testifies to public recognition of the talent and professional competence of laureates in the sphere of economic and financial analytical journalism. The initiators of the Award creation were the friends and former colleagues of N. Kirichenko from the “Expert” and “Profile” magazines. The idea was supported by the largest financial companies, state institutions and leading business mass media.

The Award was temporarily suspended in 2008. However, in 2011, the concerted efforts of the journalist and business community, supported by RF Ministry of Finances, RF Central Bank, Deposits Insurance Agency, “Rodionova” Publishing House, “Expert” Publishing House, and “Expert RA”, helped to restore the Award named after Nikita Kirichenko in the sphere of business journalism.

On May 18 this year, a solemn ceremony of awarding the laureates was held in the Cultural Center of the Central Administration of Diplomatic Corps of RF Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
