OREANDA-NEWS. May 24, 2011. Belarusian state concern Belgospischeprom plans to attract USD 130 million in FDI in 2011, a representative in the concern stated.

Revenues from sale of state shareholdings are projected at USD 14.9 million, two projects – a logistical sector and yeast plant – will result in USD 62 million worth of FDI, USD 49.7 million in FDI will be attracted through other projects, including at OJSC Grodno Tobacco Factory Neman and construction of biogas complexes, and USD 850,000 will be received from sale of property units at OJSC Bellakt, OJSC Spartak, OJSC Konfa, OJSC Grodno Tobacco Factory Neman, and RUP Minsk Kristall.

Capital investments of Belgospischeprom companies are projected to reach 573.9 billion Belarusian rubles (Br) in 2011, up 17% on the year.

In the first quarter, capital investments amounted to 123.7 billion rubles, up 51.7%.
