OREANDA-NEWS. May 24, 2011. Over the first three months of 2011 Ilim Group has manufactured 635,000 tons of market pulp and paper products. This is 5% above the performance over the similar period in 2010.

This includes 399,000 tons of market pulp, which is a 5% percent increase from the first three months of the previous year.

Market containerboard production has also gained 5%, reaching 185,000 tons.

Paper output amounted to 51,000 tons, which is 8% more than in January – March 2010. A total of 16,000 tons of sack paper, 25,000 tons of offset paper and 10,000 tons of paper for wallpaper manufacturing applications were produced.

Pulp cooking has grown by 5%, totaling 679,000 tons.

The total production output of JSC  Ilim Gofra (corrugated board and boxes) in the first three months of 2011 has reached 28,198,000 m2, which is 54% more than in the same period of the past year.
