OREANDA-NEWS. May 25, 2011. The 6th Uzbekistan international specialized exhibition for energy, energy saving, alternative energy sources and power electronics "Power Uzbekistan 2011" opened its doors in Tashkent on 16 May. This year, like six years ago, it is held alongside the OGU exhibition.

"Power Uzbekistan" demonstrates the scientific and technological achievements of the power industry, and promotes increased business activity for the development of trade, economic and manufacturing relations between local and international fuel and energy companies.

Electric power, which is one of the key sectors of Uzbekistan's economy, is now on the verge of significant change, with processes aimed at modernizing energy supply facilities. "Power Uzbekistan 2011" brought together representatives of almost all the main areas of the energy industry. The large range of technological innovations presented at the exhibition will interest both trade and ordinary consumers.

"Power Uzbekistan 2011" presents companies offering automated management systems, energy technologies and equipment, transformers, cables, wiring products, meters and monitoring devices, solar power technology, industrial energy equipment, turbine generators, power electronics, accessories and much more.

The exhibitors include leading manufacturers and suppliers of equipment for electricity generation, transmission and distribution, as well as companies presenting energy-saving technologies and equipment, control systems and electromechanical components. "Power Uzbekistan 2011" features over 30 companies from Germany, Kazakhstan, Russia, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, France, China, South Korea and Japan.

The participation in "Power Uzbekistan 2011" of national and international power companies will promote the further development of the domestic power equipment market, the expansion of business partnerships, and the emergence of new joint projects.

The participation in the business program of energy industry representatives, businesses and developers of the latest energy-saving technologies will contribute to the real advancement of progressive ideas in the development of the country's energy industry, and help develop effective ways of introducing new technologies in the electricity sector.
