OREANDA-NEWS. May 31, 2011. IBA participated in Belarusian Industrial Forum that took place in Minsk, Belarus. This year, more than 300 companies from Belarus, Belgium, China, Czech Republic, Finland, Germany, Great Britain, Hungary, Italy, the Netherlands, Russia, Spain, Sweden, Ukraine, and the USA attended the event, reported the press-centre of IBA.

At the opening ceremony, Dmitry Katerinich, Belarusian Minister of Industry, welcomed the participants and said: “Facing the growing global competition, the development of innovative knowledge–based economy is of critical importance for the country. Today, only high-tech and knowledge-intensive businesses may be competitive at the market.”

For the fifth consecutive year, IBA participated in the Belarusian Industrial Forum. At the IBA booth, visitors had an opportunity to learn more about up-to-date IT solutions to automate enterprises engaged in different industries including power engineering, metallurgy, and machine-building:
