OREANDA-NEWS. May 31, 2011. Belarus and Russia plan to establish a joint venture to process up to 1 million tonnes of milk annually, Agriculture Minister Mikhail Rusy told reporters on Thursday.

“There are instructions for relevant authorities of the two countries to create a Belarusian-Russian company to produce and process milk. We are interested in at least 1 million tonnes of raw milk a year,” the minister said, adding that the company was supposed to develop the entire supplying area, and not only deal in processing.
