OREANDA-NEWS. June 1, 2011. Belarus’ affiliates of Heineken group of companies – Heineken Breweries, in the Mogilev Region, and Rechitsapivo, in the Gomel Region – registered a 46.2% increase in output in January-April 2011 from previous January-April to 3.24 million decaliters, Belarus’ food concern Belgospischeprom said in a statement.

In April, beer production reached 1.032 million decaliters, up 53.7%.

Heineken Breweries’ output rose 60.6% on the year to 3.127 million decaliters, while Rechitsapivo’s output decreased 58.1% to 112,700 decaliters.

Heineken Breweries made 2.468 million decaliters of beer in plastic bottles in January-April, up 61.8%, and 602,700 decaliters in glass bottles, up 45.2%. Beer output in kegs reached 56,600 decaliters, up 8.1 times.

Rechitsapivo produced 112,700 decaliters of beer in plastic bottles, down 50.3%.

The two breweries delivered 3.047 million decaliters of beer to the retail network in January-April 2011, up 55.9% on the year.

Exports by Belarus’ affiliates of Heineken group of companies hiked 80.3% on the year in January-April 2011 to 120,200 decaliters, 114,400 decaliters by Heineken Breweries, up 2.2 times, and 5,800 decaliters by Rechitsapivo, down 2.6 times.
