OREANDA-NEWS. June 1, 2011. After  the phenomenal response to first phase of its project Garden City, DLF New  Indore, DLF, India’s  largest real estate company, today announced the launch of the second phase of the  project.

Spread  over a total area of 192 acres, Garden City, DLF Indore situated at A B Byepass Road has  been fast emerging as a benchmark in township development in Indore.   Phase II of the township, spread into 109 acres, is being developed adjacent  to Phase I.  All approvals and compliances are already in place. The plots are available  in the sizes of 4000 sq ft*, 2400 sq ft*, 2100 sq ft*, 1800 sq ft*, 1550 sq ft*  and 1264 sq ft*, giving consumers a host of options to choose from according to  their requirement and budget. (1 sq. mtr  = 10.760 sq. ft*).

The  Gardencity Township provides modern facilities like  swimming pool, club house and gymnasium, thus, offering its residents, a  luxurious lifestyle. When fully developed, the Gardencity will have two  schools, a hospital and three convenience shopping centres within its premises  and a mall just outside its gate. A shopping complex for daily needs is under  construction and two more are planned. A club, with all amenities is presently  under development. The township will be a gated community. Residents can be  completely sure of their safety thanks to the gated security system which works  24X7.

The  Gardencity will be a model of environment friendly development.  Solar lights are being installed in the  gardens and waste water is being re-circulated after treatment to the gardens  for horticulture purposes. Rain Water Harvesting System has also been installed  where water is filtered and then percolated into the ground, thereby  replenishing the subsoil water. The project will have dedicated electric and  water supply.

Phase II of the Gardencity township has multiple  access points.  Apart from access from inside phase I, it can  also be accessed from Panod Road on one side and Sulakhedi Road on the other.  Both these roads are 30  metre wide, right of way and are being developed by DLF in stages.  While Panod Road is already developed, Sulakhedi Road, at  present 3.5 metre black top, is expected to be completed by August, 2011. Development work has already started in the  phase II and target date of completion is May 31st 2012.

The  development at Gardencity, the first township developed by DLF in Indore, has been benefited  from the time tested best practices in plotted development practiced by DLF  over 60 years of real estate development. The township is designed by Hafeez Contractor, India’s best known architect.  Gardencity has large open spaces with 19 manicured gardens neatly spaced into  20 acres of green.  Aster Springs, one of  the gardens located in the phase II is about 1.28 lakh sq ft in size.  When fully developed, the Gardencity will  have an estimated 10,000 tress of great variety, creating an idyllic ambience.
