OREANDA-NEWS. June 02, 2011. OJSC Uralkali, as a socially responsible company attaches great importance to the recreation and health of the children of its employees.

On June 1, the first groups of children came to holiday camps at Uralskoye Razdolye (Berezniki) and Uralskiye Samotsvety (Solikamsk). During the summer vacation period a total of 2,400 children will have the opportunity to enjoy the summer camps – 1,440 children in Uralkskoye Razdolye and 960 in Uralskiye Samotsvety.

The Company pays most of the cost of the vacation programme. Parents will have to pay RUR 1,530 (ca. USD 55, 8% of the full cost) for a trip to Uralskoye Razdolye camp and 10% of an average salary for the last three months but not more than RUR 3,400 (ca. USD 121) for a trip to the Uralskiye Samotsvety camp.

Uralkali’s country recreation resorts have comfortable accomodation, sports fields, gyms, libraries, cinemas and swimming pools.

Uralkali has made thorough preparations for the initiative,  including anti-mite sanitation of the green belt. The Uralskoye Razdolye camp has built a firelane around its territory and reconstructed hot water delivery and ventilation systems in the canteen. Uralskiye Samotsvety has renovated its residential block, electrical services and also built a summer house on its grounds.

At the camps, children receive five meals a day and professional tuition. This summer, children in the Uralskoye Razdolye camp will participate in various events related to “Our TV” programme”, whilst Uralskiye Samotsvety camp will offer its guests “The Fifth Element” cooperative game.
