Ryanair, the world’s favourite airline, today (2nd June) welcomed its 260mth passenger on its flights to/from the UK as it presented Louise Ansell and daughters Annabel and Sophia with a free holiday to Lanzarote including flights, and 4 nights B&B at the 4 Star Hotel Paradise Island, part of the Lopez Hotel chain.
 
Ryanair also launched its Bristol winter 2012 schedule which will offer 17 routes, including a new Katowice route and great winter sun destinations such as Gran Canaria, Lanzarote and Tenerife.
 
Since Ryanair’s first UK flight departed from London Gatwick to Dublin in July 1985 Ryanair has opened 10 UK bases and offers flights on over 370 routes from 17 UK airports. In 2011 Ryanair will carry over 28m passengers to/from the UK, supporting and sustaining 28,000 UK jobs.
 
Ryanair celebrated its 260 millionth passenger and the launch of its winter 2012 schedule by releasing 1m Ј12 seats for travel across its European network in July which are available for booking on www.ryanair.com until midnight Monday (6th June).
