OREANDA-NEWS. June 03, 2011. Sviaz-Bank has opened a credit line with a debt limit of 1.5 billion rubles to Karat RPC OJSC that will use the borrowed funds to finance its core manufacturing business, reported the press-centre of Sviaz-Bank.     

The borrower can use the loan funds for five years.

“The Bank has decided to give a loan to Karat RPC OJSC to help the company to develop and modernize its manufacturing business, including implementation of its innovation projects and introduction of new products on the Russian market,” said Sergey Volokhov, Vice Chairman of Sviaz-Bank’s Management Board. “We are certain that more funding provided by Sviaz-Bank will help transform the company into a multipurpose dairy industry holding company producing ecologically clean foodstuffs for consumers in Russia and elsewhere.”

Karat RPC OJSC is the biggest company in Russia producing soft, hard, and fresh cheeses and other kinds of dairy products. The holding company comprises the Moscow Processed Cheese Factory Karat, Syzranmoloko Factory in Samara Region, and Kalininsky Syrkombinat Factory in Krasnodar Territory.
