OREANDA-NEWS. June 16, 2011. DemirBank’s assets as of June 1, 2011 amount 315.5 mln AZN, which exceeds the same indicator of previous year by 32.5 mln AZN or 11.5%. Volume of the loan portfolio also increased by 18.4% and reached 236.8 mln AZN.

Total value of customer deposits as of June 1, 2011 is equal to 115.5 mln AZN. Value of population’s deposits has reached 91.5 mln AZN, which represents a 12.7% or 10.3 mln AZN increase.

As of June 1, 2011 DemirBank’s shareholders capital amounted 20 mln AZN, while total regulatory capital reached 48.5 mln AZN.

One of the first banks of Azerbaijan, DemirBank (formerly called Azerdemiryolbank) started its operations in October 1989. Shareholders of the Banks include large international financial institutions, such as European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and Netherlands Development Finance Company (FMO).
