OREANDA-NEWS. June 17, 2011. Fujitsu Australia and New Zealand, a leading provider of ICT business solutions, has been appointed by the Australian Government Information Management Office (AGIMO) to the Whole of Government Telecommunications Management Panel (TMAN).

The panel provides Federal as well as State and Territory agencies with a list of proven suppliers that can tender to provide services including network integration and management, carriage service contracts, PABX management, voice and video communication, and end users device management such as mobile phone fleets.

Phil McCormack, Fujitsu’s Group Executive Director, Australia Government said: “Fujitsu’s appointment to the TMAN Panel represents an acknowledgement of our 30 year commitment to the successful design, build and delivery of telecommunications management services in Australia. Fujitsu’s increased focus on telecommunications and networking will allow us to provide first-class focussed services to Federal Government as it looks to meet the challenges of improving service delivery to Australian citizens in the age of ubiquitous high speed broadband.”

Mike Foster, CEO of Fujitsu Australia and New Zealand, said: “This announcement, coupled with last month’s inclusion in the Data Centre Migration Services Panel, cements Fujitsu’s place as a key supplier to the Australian Government and shows the commitment Fujitsu has in supporting the Commonwealth as it looks to drive efficiencies across ICT procurement in Federal Government.”
