OREANDA-NEWS. June 20, 2011. JSC "KazTransOil"has increased the volumes of oil transportation by 5%.

According to the factual data the volume of oil transportation through the network of main oil pipelines of JSC “KazTransOil” in May 2011 was equal to 22 million 715 thou. tons. Comparing to the same period of 2010 the volume of oil transportation increased by 1 million 022 thou. tons, or by 5% (fact for January- May of 2010 was equal to 21 million 693 thou. tons).

The cargo turnover through the network of main oil pipelines of JSC “KazTransOil” in 5 months of 2011 was equal to 14 billion 776 million tons per km. Relatively to the same period of the last year the given indicator increased by 1 billion 091 million tons per km or by 8% (fact for January- May of 2010 comprised 13 billion 685 million tons km).

Within the indicated period of current year growth of oil throughput volumes via “Atyrau-Samara” section of "Uzen-Atyrau-Samara" main oil pipeline is noted – 6 million 758 thou. tons, which is 756 thou. tons or by 13% more than in January – May of 2010 (fact for 5 months of the last year comprised 6 million 002 thou. tons of oil). Growth trend of transportation volumes of hydrocarbons is kept in direction of CPR – in January – May of current year volume of oil throughput in “Atasu-Alashankou” reached the level of 4 million 749 thou. tons of oil, which exceeds the indicator of the same period of 2010 by 651 thou. tons, or 16% (fact for 5 months of 2010 was equal to 4 million 099 thou. tons).

Transit of Russian oil via the section of "TON-2", located on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan, was equal to 2 million 425 thou. tons of oil, the increase by 144 thou. tons or 6%. Crude transportation through the network of main pipelines of JSC "KazTransOil" to oil refineries of the Republic of Kazakhstan comprised 5 million 084 thou. tons. Supplies were increased in the direction towards Atyrau refinery (for 58 thou.tons or 4%) and towards Petro Kazakhstan Oil Products (75 thou. tons or 4%).

JSC "KazTransOil" carries out supply of Volga water to consumers of Atyrau and Mangistau oblasts of Kazakhstan via Astrahan-Mangyshklak waterline. In January-May of current year, the volume of water supply was equal to 8 million 173 thou. cubic meters, and in comparison with the same period of 2010, the volume has increased by 479 thou. cubic meters or by 6%.
