OREANDA-NEWS. June 21, 2011. It has dropped by 3.13 percentage points since the beginning of the year, while in comparison with May 2010, the indicator reduced by 7.15 p.p. The share of non-performing credits in the overall normative capital as of end-May 2011, was 39.3% down 10.38 percentage points from the beginning of 2011 and 19.87 percentage points compared to May 2010.

At the same time, non-performing assets by end-May 2011 made up 7.43% of the total volume of assets (-1.54 p.p. since the beginning of 2011) and 49.12% - of the overall normative capital (-9.47 p.p.). The share of overdue and interest free credits in the total amount of credits as of the end of May 2011 amounted to 13.15%, up 1.92 p.p. compared to the situation by end-December 2010, but down 6.41 p.p. in comparison with indicators by the end of May last year. At the same time, the share of overdue and interest free credits in the total normative capital as of the end of May 2010 made up 50.69 percent, 8.81 p.p. higher than indicators of December 2010, but 16.06 p.p. less than as of May 2010.

The share of industrial and commercial credits by end-May 2010 constituted 52.71%, up 1.14 p.p. from the beginning of the year, and 0.88 p.p. in comparison with May 2010. Agricultural credits and credits for food industry accounted for 15,27%, up 0.41 p.p. since the beginning of the year and down 0.73 p.p. in comparison with may 2010. Credits for real estate, construction and development accounted for 11.85%, down 0.48 p.p. since the beginning of the year and 0.28 p.p. – in comparison with May.

The share of consumer credits made up 8.18%, down 0.22 p.p. in comparison with the situation by end-December 2010, and 0.11 p.p. – in comparison with last year May. The share of fuel-energy credits by end-May constituted 3.68%, 0.06 p.p. higher than the indicator as of the end of December and 0.68 p.p. higher than in May last year.
