OREANDA-NEWS. June 21, 2011. KAMAZ participates in the 11th International Exhibition "Oil and Gas - 2011" which has opened today in Moscow.

It is logical that KAMAZ participates in the exhibition along with 100 companies from 36 countries, as it satisfies the total consumer demand of the industry offering oil and gas industry workers a wide range of diverse models of special-purpose machinery.

This year, crew buses on KAMAZ chassis are on the foreground of the KAMAZ exposition. The company has been long developing and producing special (crew) buses on all-wheel drive chassis of its own manufacture. Bus equipment is made for them by KAMAZ’s subsidiary in Bashkortostan – OAO NEFAZ.

A special-purpose bus NEFAZ-4208-10-41 on KAMAZ-43114-3861-30 (6x6) chassis powered by CNG is designed to carry shift teams on public roads. Consumers from various regions will be interested in this vehicle as it is designed for operation at ambient temperatures from -45 to +40 °C.

Of no less interest is a new serial product – an all-wheel drive dump truck KAMAZ-65222 (6x6) with a restyled cab, it features a carrying capacity of 19.5 tons. The vehicle won in the competition "100 best goods of Russia" for achievements in the field of quality of domestic products. This machine of European standard and quality, with its high cross-country capability and payload, is especially effective when used under heavy road conditions.

At the exhibition, KAMAZ presented a diesel generating set AD100S-T400-1R with a power hood and manually regulated louvers. This portable diesel power station with a capacity of 100 kW is indispensable in the field as an autonomous power supply source. The electrical equipment installed on the trailer of a truck tractor enables to supply remote villages, institutions, enterprises, facilities and warehouses with electricity within the shortest period of time.

Another exhibit of KAMAZ for the oil and gas industry is a liquid heating unit ANZh1x2300x0,3 on KAMAZ-65111. It is designed to continuously heat and pump large volumes of process fluid.

Under the development program of the European Union countries, it is planned to transfer 25% of vehicles to alternative fuels by 2020. Thanks to KAMAZ designers’ developments, Russia is not behind Europe in terms of technical support of CNG vehicles. OJSC KAMAZ, which has the widest network of branded service centers in Russia and the CIS countries, is able to quickly re-orient it for maintenance of NGVs.
