OREANDA-NEWS. June 28, 2011. On August 3, 2011, OJSC Orenburgneft shall hold the Regional Innovation Technology Forum in Buzuluk. The Forum objective is to share innovative activities experience, engage contractors to implement best technologies in oil production companies, look for innovative solutions for operational problems.

The Forum shall have four break-out sections: well drilling innovations; downhole equipment for oil production; enhanced oil recovery and water shutoff management; efficient infrastructure equipment.

Innovation Technology Request:

– Non-damaging reservoir penetration methods, circulation loss control;

– Innovative oil recovery methods, including hard to recover reserves, water shut-off methods and equipment (including those for high water-cut terrigenous reservoirs), cement squeeze jobs, improvement of water injection rate of wells drilled to terrigenous reservoirs, flattening of the injection rate curve, selective water shut-off jobs;

– Energy efficient equipment; downhole pumping equipment used for high gas content services, wells with technical limitations (curvature – over 30°, production casing diameter – below 80 mm);

– Reduction of proppant lifting during post-fracturing well operation;

– Wax inhibitors;

– New technologies and equipment for oil treatment: spontaneous emulsion control methods for vessels; reduction of metal consumption for units manufacture; vessels performance improvement;

– Desulfurization methods; sulfur utilization methods;

– Survey equipment: video-logging during downhole emergency response; express water-cut analysis; dynamic level measurement in over 3000 m deep wells and wells with high gas-oil ratio; portable instruments for determination of sulfur compounds content in oil; system for measurement of the fuzzy phase interface level in vessels (gas-oil-water); a system for metering produced water at the modular wellpad pump station outlet (up to 250 kgf/cm2 pressure; 150 – 200 mm pipelines); inspection of pipeline insulation prior to installation;

– Methods for deployment of the in-field communication network without land allotment and frequency allocation.
