OREANDA-NEWS. June 28, 2011. Belarusians’ real incomes [adjusted for inflation] rose 18.3% on the year in January-April 2011, the National Statistics Committee said in a press release.

Individual incomes rose 34.8% on the year in January-April to 41.8 trillion Belarusian rubles (Br), while consumer prices increased 13.9% year-on-year. As a result, incomes rose 18.3% in real terms.

Real disposable incomes went up 16.7% on the year in January-April 2011.

Incomes per capita amounted to 1,103,700 rubles in January-April 2011.

Compensations accounted for 65.2% of total incomes in January-April 2011, up from 62.1% in January-April 2010.

Social transfers – pensions, allowances and study grants – accounted for 20.3%, down from 21.7% in January-April 2010, and incomes entrepreneurial activities an other income-gaining activities for 11.9%, down from 12.4%, and incomes from property – yield on deposit and dividends – for 2.6%, down from 3.8%.
