OREANDA-NEWS. July 04, 2011. Bank Societe Generale Vostok (BSGV) and Rosbank were consolidated, which finalized Societe Generale Russian assets’ consolidation process. The consolidated Rosbank will become the largest international financial structure in the Russian market, reported the press-centre of BSGV.
 
The consolidation of the assets has been organized in 3 stages. At the 1st stage, in the 2nd half of 2010, Rosbank capital was increased. At the second stage, in January 2011, Rusfinance (consumer lending) and DeltaCredit (mortgage lending) became 100% subsidiaries of Rosbank. The 3rd stage was finalized on June 30, 2011 when Moscow department of the Bank of Russia gave Rosbank the documents affirming finalization of Rosbank reorganization in form of affiliation of BSGV.
 
According to estimations, the joint bank enters top 5 Russian banks in terms of credit portfolio and takes the 3d position in retail lending in Russia. The network of the bank covers almost 700 offices in 340 cities and towns in 70 regions of Russia.
 
The joint bank will use Rosbank name and Societe Generale corporate style – red and black square with white stripe – Societe Generale symbol well-known all over the world.
