OREANDA-NEWS. July 12, 2011. In June Estonian Air carried altogether 68,521 passengers, 58,079 of these on regular flights. The total number of passengers increased 13,4% y-o-y, and on regular flights 5,2%, reported the press-centre of Estonian Air.

“Encouraged by growth, we have increased frequencies to several destinations and opened new ones. And work on future schedule enhancements continues,” said Rauno Parras, Estonian Air Vice President Commercial.

In the first six months of 2011 Estonian Air carried altogether 307,858 passengers, 278,984 of these on regular flights. The total number of passengers increased 16.3% y-o-y, on regular flights 18%.

In June Estonian Air carried 61,139 passengers in Tallinn, which is 8.3% more y-o-y. In the first six months Estonian Air carried 266,542 passengers in Tallinn, which is 6.1% more y-o-y.

In June Estonian Air carried 7,206 passengers in Vilnius, which is 141.4% more y-o-y. In the first six months Estonian Air carried 40,976 passengers in Vilnius, which is 316.3% more y-o-y.

Estonian Air operated 5,512 flights in the first six months, which is 11% more flights y-o-y. In June 1,017 flights were operated, which is 7.4% more flights y-o-y.

The regularity of Estonian Air flights in the first six months was 99% and the 15-minute punctuality was 91.1%. In June the regularity and the punctuality were 99.6% and 91.6% respectively.
