OREANDA-NEWS. July 12, 2011. The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) initiated a case against the Federal Service for State Registration, Land Registry and Mapping (the State Register) upon the signs of violating Part 1 Article 17 of the Federal Law “On Protection of Competition”, reported the press-centre of FAS Russia.

The case was initiated upon bidders’ complaints that “Zemlya” Federal Land Registry Centre” Federal State Unitary Enterprise, subordinate to the State Register, had been unlawfully allowed to take part in a tender.

The State Register exercises ownership powers with regard to the federal property transferred to the lower organizations and the Head of “Zemlya” Federal Land Registry Centre”, in his turn, organizes implementation of the decisions made by the property owner – the State Register.

Thus, the decision of the State Register to allow “Zemlya” Federal Land Registry Centre” Federal State Unitary to take part in the tender has the signs of violating the antimonopoly law.

The case is scheduled on 20th July 2011.
