OREANDA-NEWS. July 12, 2011. ABC International Investment Consulting (Beijing) Co., Ltd. (the "Company") officially went into operation in Beijing. Mr. Zhou Mubing, Vice Chairman of the China Banking Regulatory Commission (“CBRC”), Mr. Mao Xiaoping, Secretary of the CPC Wuxi Municipal Committee, Mr. Xiang Junbo, Chairman of Agricultural Bank of China Limited ("ABC"), Mr. Zhang Yun, Vice Chairman and President of ABC, Mr. Pan Gongsheng, Executive Director and Vice President of ABC and also Chairman of ABC International Holdings Limited (“ABCI”) attended the opening ceremony and extended warm congratulations to the opening of the Company, reported the press-centre of ABC.
 
The Company is the first subsidiary of ABCI registered in the Chinese mainland. It aims to help the business line development in mainland markets of ABCI, to carry out investment advisory and consulting, financial advisory and consulting, investment and asset management consulting and other services without mainland license restrictions, and ultimately to provide domestic and overseas customers with comprehensive investment banking services.

Mr. Xiang Junbo said at the opening ceremony that, as a comprehensive operating platform for investment banking businesses of ABC in Hong Kong, ABCI can engage in direct investment, corporate finance, securities brokerage, asset management and other investment banking services. Since its opening, ABCI has been offering comprehensive package services to domestic and overseas enterprises, creating a unique business model and service brand. The Company, the representative institution of ABCI in the mainland with the focus on investment consulting business, will help ABCI to fully develop the mainland investment banking business. Mr. Xiang Junbo believed that with full support of all walks of life, the Company will usher in a bright future; and ABCI will embrace further development in providing better integrated services and achieve mutual benefit and growth together with customers.

At the opening ceremony, ABCI and 16 institutional or corporate customers signed cooperation agreements on private equity funds, strategic cooperation, public listing underwriting and direct investment etc.
