OREANDA-NEWS. July 12, 2011. Belarusian companies will receive state support as partial repayment of interests on loans totaling 2.8 trillion Belarusian rubles (Br) provided to acquire crop products of the 2011 harvest, under presidential ordinance #306 of July 2.

State support will be offered to district consumer societies, bakeries, flax factories, fishing farms, distilleries, sugar refineries, canneries, etc. that acquire crop products.

Loans are provided for up to 12 months against guarantees of the government.

Loans totaling 1.96 trillion rubles will be provided to make advance payments for crops procured for state needs: 1.025 million tonnes of milling grain, 475,000 tonnes of rapeseed, 3.64 million tonnes of sugar beet, 212,000 tonnes of malt barley, 170,000 tonnes of grain for distilleries and 106,000 tonnes of flax fiber.

Loans amounting to 840 billion rubles will be extended to pay for crop supplies in excess of the state-guaranteed order.
