OREANDA-NEWS. July 14, 2011. Inspectorate of Federal Tax Service in the town of Surgut, Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area- Yugra made an entry in the Unified State Register of Legal Entities about the change of business name: OGK-4 OAO is renamed as JSC “E.ON Russia”. Thus, the new Articles of Association was registered with the new Company name, reported the press-centre of E.ON Russia.
 
Shareholders approved the restated Articles of Association at their annual General shareholders’ meeting which took place on June 24.
 
Along with the name change, the Company also alters its corporate identity. From now on, the E.ON logo which is used by all the Company subdivisions group-wide will be the graphic symbol of E.ON Russia.
 
The Company re-branding was approved by the management of the Company major shareholder - E.ON Group. Also, the permit to use the word “Russia” in the business name was obtained from the RF Ministry of Justice.
 
Company rename lays emphasis on E.ON Russia and its branches’ affiliation with E.ON Group and is indicative of the Group long-term plans in the Russian power engineering industry.
