OREANDA-NEWS. July 14, 2011. OJSC KAMAZ presented vehicles with gas engines and gas equipment at the Ural International Exhibition "Innoprom-2011", which is traditionally held in Yekaterinburg in mid-July.

Year after year, alternative fuels are more and more used in commercial vehicles instead of gasoline and diesel. The leader of the domestic truck industry – KAMAZ – has for a long time been developing advanced models of KAMAZ trucks running on compressed natural gas (methane) for various industries of the Russian economy.

At the exhibition, KAMAZ will demonstrate new models of special equipment designed for communal services. The exposition of the company consists of a rear-tipping garbage truck Minipac MK-2 built on the basis of KAMAZ-4308 chassis, a combined road car KAMAZ-ED-405G and a low-entry first-class city bus NEFAZ-5299. All models are equipped with gas engines produced by KAMAZ and foreign companies which meet Euro-4 and Euro 5 environmental standards.
