OREANDA-NEWS. July 18, 2011. As of July 12, Bradesco customers are able to use the biometric system to read the vascular pattern of their hands as the password to carry out banking transactions. Even though the resource was already in used, it was also necessary to type in a six-digit code.

Considered one of the most advanced security technologies, the system operates as a scanner which recognizes the vascular pattern of the hand, which is unique to each individual. Currently, the system is implemented in 3,672 Bradesco branches and in the external ATMs of the Bradesco Dia & Noite network, and is used by more than five million clients.

Bradesco is the pioneer in the use of this technology and the only Financial Institution to offer this system as an identification device in ATMs of the Bradesco Dia & Noite network. Biometry reading makes banking transactions easier for customers, with security, comfort and convenience at the ATMs.
