OREANDA-NEWS. July 19, 2011. Since the beginning of 2011 Siberia macro-regional branch of Rostelecom OJSC has won 80 out of 107 contracts for supplying telecommunication services to the state clients in the Siberian Federal District to the amount of 147mln rubles.

The company’s customers were: regional and local authorities, ministries and agencies of the region including Pension Fund branches, defense and law enforcement agencies such as Directorate of Internal Affairs, Federal Security Service of Russia, and Ministry of Internal Affairs, Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, as well as educational institutions and others.

 Pursuant to the contracts Rostelecom-Siberia shall render their customers various services among which is providing broadband Internet access, producing data transmission multiservice network and virtual private network (VPN), rendering local, trunk and international telephone communication services including IP-telephony services.

The company won the competition for the best service provider for state agencies, which was held under the Government Order 2010, 6th All-Russian Forum, in which     Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Russia and Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia took part.
