OREANDA-NEWS. July 21, 2011. The crediting of agricultural producers in Ukraine will increase, National Bank of Ukraine Chairman Serhiy Arbuzov informed President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych at a meeting in Crimea.

He informed the President that since early 2011, more than 8 billion hryvnias were allocated for supporting farmers, and interest rates on loans reduced. "We had a conversation during which we identified the main priorities of this sector. And today, we make every effort for the agricultural sector to receive more money," Serhiy Arbuzov said after the meeting.

The National Bank Chairman added that it implies further reduction of interest rates and extension of lending to domestic farmers. "We are working on it," he said.
