OREANDA-NEWS. July 22, 2011. President Viktor Yanukovych has met Kyiv Regional State Administration Chairman Anatoliy Prysyazhnyuk. During the meeting the Kyiv regional governor has reported to the President on the situation in the Kyiv region.

Viktor Yanukovych heard a report by Anatoliy Prysyazhnyuk on the progress of crop harvesting in the Kyiv region. The President drew attention to the importance of providing fire safety measures in this period.

Anatoliy Prysyazhnyuk has also informed Viktor Yanukovych that 1500 combine harvesters are currently involved in the collection of crop. According to him, about 420 thousand tons of grain have been collected on 45% of the sown area. He informed that the region plans to collect high yields of corn, sunflower, buckwheat, sugar beets and soybeans. "Crop collectors are working, all technological norms are met," Anatoliy Prysyazhnyuk said.

In addition, the Kyiv Regional State Administration Chairman has briefed the President on the progress of reforms in the Kyiv region.
