OREANDA-NEWS. July 25, 2011. Fujitsu, the market leader in document imaging scanners, today announced that Nina Lutjens, vice president of sales, Fujitsu Computer Products of America, has been recognized by Everything Channel’s CRN Magazine as one of the top "Women of the Channel" in 2011.

CRN’s annual list recognizes female executives for their accomplishments over the past year, based on their achievements as executives and the amount of influence they wield over the technology channel. This year’s "Women of the Channel" were chosen by the editors of CRN Magazine from a field of vendor channel organizations, distributors and solution providers.

This year’s "Women of the Channel" list honors those female executives who epitomize success within the IT channel – a traditionally male-centric industry”, said Kelley Damore, vice president & editorial director, Everything Channel. "Whether they come from tier-one vendors, VAR500 solution providers or just bring a bevy of channel experience that cannot be ignored, the 2011 "Women of the Channel" list will recognize the most influential women of the channel based on their overall achievements, and their influence in the technology industry.”

Bringing over 21 years of technology sales and marketing experience to Fujitsu Computer Products of America, Nina Lutjens has introduced several new and innovative program initiatives to the Fujitsu One Capture Alliance (OCA) Program. Some of her major channel accomplishments include: channel program growth by 17% in the past five years while simultaneously accelerating channel sales, multiyear service offer resulting in an increase in attach rate at point of sale – demonstration of the service post-warranty proving it can be sold through a two-tier channel successfully, a partner loyalty program that also serves as an educational portal for new products and services, a trade-in program to give the partner base an environmentally conscious way of disposing of legacy products, an automated rebate program that distributes rebates to resellers on a quarterly basis, and a marketing resource that allows partners to co-brand their collateral with Fujitsu products and logos.

"By working hard and continually striving for excellence in your everyday life, there is nothing you can’t achieve"said Nina Lutjens, vice president of sales, Fujitsu Computer Products of America, Inc. "Being recognized amongst so many influential women in the industry is an honor and a testament to the success of our channel program and our partners. Moving into 2012, we will continue to focus our efforts on our partners, making sure they have the support, tools, and training needed to fuel their success."
