OREANDA-NEWS. July 26, 2011. A sizeable part of Ukraine will be covered by network of the wholesale markets of agricultural production and vegetable storehouses in 2011-2012 years. It was started by the Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov during a working trip to the wholesale market of agricultural products "Stolychnyi".

"Just in 2011-2012 sizable part of the country will be covered by network of the wholesale markets and vegetable storehouses. That is, we can say, that this program not for decades, but for nearest two-three years. It is clear, that we right at the beginning of a way - ways of creation of the wholesale markets of agricultural production", - the Prime Minister told.

He noted that in the further the Government put before himself a task to alarm cattle-breeding branch and to provide people with this production under the prices of manufacturers. “This is the main thing above which the Government will work very seriously", - the Prime Minister emphasized.

Thus Mykola Azarov expressed satisfaction that in the shortest timeframes construction and commissioning of the first turn of wholesale market "Stolychnyi", where inhabitants of Kyiv city can get agricultural products under the actual prices, is completed. "As for me it is very pleasant, that several months ago here there was a pure field, and the wholesale market now functions and every day is on sale about 3 thousand tons of vegetable production", - Prime Minister noted.

In this context he has reminded, that last year the Government developed strategy of construction on all territory of Ukraine of the wholesale markets of agricultural products and vegetable storehouses. "The program of creation of the wholesale markets, vegetable storehouses was developed to decide main problem - to provide our people full-scale with vegetables, fruit, products for reasonable prices, to clean the speculator. If the cabbage can be sold on 80 kopecks it should not cost 13 UAH. If buckwheat really costs 4-5 UAH, it should not cost 18-20 UAH", - the Prime Minister declared.

He has set the task to organize Internet-commerce on "Stolychnyi" market, in the near future, to organize system of road junctions and entrances to this market. Thus the Prime minister emphasized that by the end of year the second turn of market "Stolychnyi" will be put into operation. "Our Kyiv authorities will solve a problem of road junctions. I today have given such assignment", - Mykola Azarov told.

Reference. The first turn of the wholesale market of agricultural products "Stolychnyi" was put into operation on July, 15, this year; the market works round the clock seven days in a week. There is modern quality assurance of vegetables and fruit in the market, as well as hi-tech storage and effective logistics are organized.
