OREANDA-NEWS. July 28, 2011. Galina Ryltsova will lead the IFRS Accounting Advisory Services. Galina will be responsible for providing consulting services to clients regarding complex IFRS matters, and IFRS transition in Russia, reported the press-centre of PwC.

Galina was born in Moscow in 1969. In 1992, Galina graduated from Moscow Institute of International Relations with a Diploma in International Economic Relations with honours.

From 1992 to 2001, Galina worked for Andersen as an audit consultant with the Assurance Group, and by 2001 she was a senior manager. From 2001 to 2005, she was on a secondment in the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB), London, as part of Andersen knowledge exchange, and then continued working at IASB in the position of a project manager. From 2005 to 2007 Galina worked for KPMG London as a senior manager with the Global Reporting Group. From 2007 to present, Galina has been a partner with PwC. Galina Ryltsova was appointed Leader of the IFRS Accounting Advisory Group effective 1 July 2011.

Galina is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA, USA) with the IFRS methodology experience exceeding 10 years.
