OREANDA-NEWS. July 28, 2011. Renaissance Capital, the leading emerging markets investment bank, has further strengthened its Russia, CIS and Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) investment banking coverage, with the appointment of Saydam Salaheddin as a managing director, based in Moscow.

Salaheddin, who takes up his new role on 1 August, will focus on real estate, consumer and agriculture investment banking across the CIS and CEE, including Turkey. He joins Renaissance Capital from Credit Suisse Group, where he was head of real estate and consumer investment banking for Russia, CEE and Turkey for 13 years, having been based in Moscow since 2007. Prior to that, Salaheddin was a London-based analyst in Credit Suisse’s consumer, food, retail and services group.

“We are pleased to welcome Saydam to the Firm,” said Andrew Cornthwaite, Renaissance Capital’s Deputy CEO. “He brings superb experience across the real estate, consumer and agricultural sectors in our existing markets, such as Russia and Ukraine; and also in new markets for us, such as Turkey, where he has an excellent track record. Saydam’s addition to the team will further enhance the Firm’s ability to add value for our clients, in both existing and new geographies.”
