OREANDA-NEWS. July 29, 2011. At the same time, according to the operative data, they were 107.7 million leis or 1.3% less than the planned level, the Finance Ministry reported. In the first half of this year, the state budget’s main incomes totaled 7,196.5 million leis or 100.7% of the planned level. In comparison with the same period last year, they grew 460.8 million leis or 6.8 percent.

During 6 months of 2011, public institutions, funded by the state budget, accumulated incomes from special funds in the amount of 556.6 million leis or 84.9 percent of the planned level. Compared to the same period last year, the receipts of this item of incomes grew 104.5 million leis or 23.1%. Special funds’ incomes in this period totaled 164.1 million leis or 124.2% of the planned level and exceeded the indicators for the same period of 2010 by 22.4 million leis or 15.8%. Incomes of such item as projects funded from foreign sources totaled 211.4 million leis or 69.3 percent of the planned level.

Internal and external grants totaled 187.2 million leis, of which internal grants totaled 6.2 million leis, external grants – 181 million leis. According to the Ministry of Finance’s data, the state budget expenditure in the first half of this year totaled 9,266.4 million leis, or 86.5% of the amount planned for this period. In comparison with January-June last year, they grew 676.9 million leis or 7.9 percent. The main expenses totaled 8,091.5 million leis or 91.7% of the planned amount. In comparison with 6 months of 2010, the state budget’s main expenses increased by 336.3 million leis or 4.3%.

Expenses of special money totaled 489.4 million leis, making up 70.5 percent of the planned level and exceeding the indicators of the same period last year by 67.1 million leis. Special funds’ expenses totaled 87.9 million leis or 61.3% of the amount planned for this period. Expenses on projects funded from foreign resources totaled 603.7 million leis, making up 57.1% of the planned level.

The state budget deficit in January-June this year totaled 1,143.9 million leis. It was covered by the funds from the issue of state securities – 64.1 million leis, funds of the foreign financial aid – 638.6 million leis, money for state property divestment – 28.8 million leis, other sources – 854.6 million leis.
