OREANDA-NEWS. July 29, 2011. The Bank of East Asia (“BEA”) has celebrated the opening of its new Fanling Branch, SupremeGold Centre, and i-Financial Centre in Fanling Town Centre. BEA Director and officiating guest of honour, Mr. Aubrey Li Kwok-sing, was joined by BEA's Chairman & Chief Executive, Dr. David K.P. Li, senior executives of the Bank and other guests at today’s opening ceremony, reported the press-centre of BEA.

The opening is actually a relocation of the Bank’s Fanling Branch, which was formerly located on Wo Fung Street in Luen Wo Hui. However, service has been effectively expanded in the new location to include a SupremeGold Centre and an i-Financial Centre.

The branch and its adjacent centres are conveniently located in Fanling Town Centre, which is next to the MTR’s Fanling Station on the East Rail Line. With a total floor area of over 4,000 square feet, the new branch and two additional centres offer customers comprehensive range of banking and financial services, as well as advanced automated banking services, which are available during extended business hours.

In addition to the full-service Fanling Branch, the new Fanling SupremeGold Centre offers a wide spectrum of highly personalised wealth management services including investment funds, linked deposits, securities trading, currency trading, insurance, consumer loans, mortgage loans, and much more.

BEA’s innovative i-Financial Centres provide convenient banking services to customers until 7:00 p.m. from Monday to Saturday. The Centre is equipped with self-service machines and manned service desks. The advanced “i-Teller” booths enable customers to perform banking transactions with BEA Customer Service Representatives via video call.

“We are very pleased to announce the relocation of this branch to the heart of the Fanling area,” said Mr. Simon Lau, General Manager & Head of Personal Banking Division at BEA. “Fanling MTR Station is an important transportation hub in the New Territories’ North District, and our new branch will enable us to serve the need of our customers even more extensively,” he added.

BEA operates one of the largest networks of any bank in Hong Kong including 88 branches, 59 SupremeGold Centres, and 4 i-Financial Centres throughout the city.

Located at shop 27B-C, Level 2, Fanling Town Centre, 18 Fanling Station Road, Fanling, the Fanling Branch and SupremeGold Centre are open for business from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Monday to Friday) and 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (Saturday).
