OREANDA-NEWS. August 1, 2011. A regular Business Council meeting on trade and economic cooperation between Lithuania and Russia was held in Klaipeda, Lithuania.

One of the main items on the agenda was the impact of the global financial crisis on the Lithuanian economy and its consequences for further Lithuanian- Russian cooperation.

The meeting was co-chaired by Bronislavis Lubis, President of the Lithuanian Business Council, and Victor Tregubko, President of the Russian Business Council. The meeting was also attended by Vladimir Chikvadze, Russian Extraodinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador in Lithuania, Eugenijus Gentvilas, Director General of Klaipeda Port, as well as other Russian and Lithuanian officials and entrepreneurs.

Novikombank was represented by Vice Presidents Boris Kirillov and Ekaterina Suprunovich, who conducted negotiations with Lithuanian financial sector representatives. On Lithuanian request, Mrs Suprunovich reported on recent trends in the Russian economy.
