OREANDA-NEWS. August 02, 2011. 5000th client of Smartbank system (smartbank.kz) has been registered in Eurasian Bank! The Client is the resident of Aktobe Kuzhakhmetova Samal Nagashbayevna, reported the press-centre of Eurasian Bank.

Ms. Kuzhakhmetova is a long time client of Eurasian Bank. She has been not only connected to convenient electronic system offering the clients access to personal accounts and operations via internet but also she will also receive a valuable present from Eurasian Bank – a clock with silver coating.

We asked Dmitry Nikolin, the Executive Director of JSC Eurasian Bank and an expert in new banking technologies to tell us in more details about the upcoming changes in the system of internet-banking and the new services.

“Eurasian Bank has set the task to become number 1 in Kazakhstan in providing high-quality services via internet-banking, — underlined Mr. Nikolin. — Our new concept is in the use of newest technologies with support of automated methods of information processing. In other words, internet-banking must provide the full range of banking services for its clients via Internet.”

Unfortunately, as Dmitry Nikolin noted, the capabilities of the system currently used by Eurasian Bank are limited and require sufficient investments. Due to this reason the Bank decided to change the IT-solution of Smartbank. “By the end of the year we will present to market’s assessment a new, modern solution,” – said Mr. Nikolin.

One year ago the system of banking service Smartbank of Eurasian Bank registered its thousandth client. 12 months after this number has increased by five times!  And how many positive modifications, innovative solutions, attractive services were implemented during this year! 

Thus, starting in October 2010 the registration in Smartbank system takes only two minutes. A two-minute registration system is very simple. The client comes to any Bank’s office and informs the manager of the desire to connect to the system of internet-banking. The Manager fills in the special electronic form with the TRN, identification document details and contacts. Immediately after registration all documentation and an envelope with secret codes to the system are given to the client. Registration and connection to the system are free of charge.  Bank does not apply any subscription fee for the use of the system.

In December of the last year Eurasian Bank started accepting the payments in Smartbank from card accounts for the benefit of the following suppliers: Beeline, K’Cell, Activ, NEO - GSM, Dalacom, Pathword, City, JET, AlmaTV, DigitalTV, ICON, G-Media, 43 Channel, Center of utilities payments, Payments center "Karaganda-Billing", Shygysenergotrade, Oskemen Vodokanal, Transtelecom, Nursat, СА-Telcom, G-Media, International Academy of Business, Almaty Technology University, Info-Ces, Readers Digest.

Other service capabilities: card-to-card money transfers of Eurasian Bank, card blocking, account statements and bank card statements, etc.
