OREANDA-NEWS. August 2, 2011. In the course of June 2011 Kyivstar organized informative excursions "The travel to the Kyivstar land" to the offices of the company for the children of the employees. As a result of the these events 760 children from 18 cities of Ukraine managed to get acquainted with their parent’s work.

The project "The travel to the Kyivstar land" started in the beginning of June 2011. Throughout the month the children of the "Kyivstar" employees could find out what the work place of the parents was. For this time 760 children aged from 4 to 16 have visited the Kyivstar offices in 19 cities of Ukraine.

The "Travel to the Kyivstar land" consisted of an informative part, an tour of the offices of the company and its different organizational units as well as an entertainment program comprising games, contests, a treat and gifts. The children visited the offices in such cities as Kharkiv, Poltava, Sumy, Kremenchug, Odesa, Mykolaiv, Kherson, Izmail, Lviv, Dnipropetrivsk, Simferopol, Chernivtsi, Ivano-Frankivsk, Khmelnitskyi, Ternopil, Rivne, Lutsk and Kyiv. The small guests saw where and how their parents work and could become acquainted in detail with the work of the Technical, Finance, Administrative, Marketing and Legal Departments. Also the travelers visited the users service center, security service, print center and call center.

After getting familiarized with the office, the children could show their talents and creative abilities during a dancing flash mob. And all the festivities ended up with multicolor salute of air balloons launched to the sky by the children.

Masha Ivchenko, 9 years old, a daughter of Ivan Ivchenko, 1st Category Engineer, Technical Directorate, Kyivstar Head Office:

"I likes a star of the roof very much. I liked it there, where operators work. And also I learnt how I can call my dad, how mobile communications operate at all and how people call each other".

Andrii Zhydchenko, 6 years old, a son of Oleksandr Zhydchenko, Head of Technical Department, the Sumy Sub-branch of the Kharkiv Branch Office:

"I want to become an adult faster to be brave as my dad for me not to be scared when climbing up to big towers".

Such a event brought a lot of positive emotions not only for children, but also for their parents.

"Starting the project „The travel to the Kyivstar land", we pursued the aim of introducing the children of the Kyivstar employees to their parent’s work places and show how Kyivstar works. We are very grad that our colleagues and their children actively took part in the project and got unforgettable impressions from these events. Positive answers of the children is a proof that we have achieved our goal".
