OREANDA-NEWS. August 2, 2011. During the visit of Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange OJSC (BUCE) working group to South Africa, broad business program aimed at increase in the number of accredited companies from South Africa, growth of concluded transactions including export from Belarusian counterparts was held.

The working group took part in the National Exposition of the Republic of Belarus at the largest international exhibitions in South Africa - Africa's Big 7 and SAITEX 2011 - held in Johannesburg during which BUCE’s trading platform possibilities as well as advantages of exchange and electronic trade were presented in order to increase turnover between the Republic of Belarus and countries of the South African region.

With the assistance of Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in the Republic of South Africa negotiations with representatives of Ministry of Trade and Industry of the Republic of South Africa, Africa Union Financial Services and South African companies were held.

In addition, meetings with the leadership of Johannesburg Stock Exchange and Securities & Trading Technology Ltd, which are members of the Association of Futures Markets (AFM) as well as BUCE, were arranged to develop co-operation within AFM, identify perspective goods for mutual trade and conclude interexchange agreements.
