OREANDA-NEWS. August 03, 2011. VTB Bank increased credit documentary limit for Khabarovsk Airport up to RUB 1.5 billion. Under the new limit, the company received over RUB 1 billion in funds and guarantees. It is expected that this July and August the transactions volume will reach RUB 1.5 billion, in particular, due to cooperation between Khabarovsk Airport and Incheon International Airport, reported the press-centre of VTB Bank.

Nikolay Ustinov, Senior Vice-President of VTB Bank, said: “VTB focuses on dynamic development of long-term partnership relations with Khabarovsk Airport, the largest Russian international airport in the Far East region. VTB’s experience in providing world class financial services will contribute to successful growth of the company’s business”.

JSC Khabarovsk Airport is the largest air hub in the Far East of the Russian Federation in terms of civil passenger traffic both in domestic and international airlines. In 2010, the airport provided services to nearly 1.4 million passengers. Each day about 60 domestic and international companies make regular and charter flights to Khabarovsk Airport.

In July 2011, JSC Khabarovsk Airport and Korean State Corporation Incheon International Airport signed a strategic partnership agreement in Moscow. Incheon will participate in creating an air hub under the master plan for development of Khabarovsk (Novy) International Airport.
