OREANDA-NEWS. August 04, 2011. China may receive a spot cargo of liquefied natural gas from Nigeria this month, according to ship-tracking data.

China National Offshore Oil Corp.’s Guangdong terminal may get the fuel on Aug. 8 on the LNG River Orashi, possibly from Bonny LNG in Nigeria, according to ship transmissions captured today by AISLive on Bloomberg.

Spot purchases from Nigeria, Trinidad & Tobago and the U.S. totaled 132,059 metric tons in June and cost an average USD 754 a ton, according to China customs data.
