About Direct Market Access (DMA)

BM&FBOVESPA has made Direct Market Access (DMA) available for the equities market since September 2010 - via Provider, Direct Connection and Co-location, which are respectively modalities 2, 3 And 4.

As well as traditional access (DMA1), in which the customer trades via the brokerage house’s technological structure, there is model 2 via Provider in which  the customer does not use the structure and instead connects to the system via a provider with authorized access. With model 3 DMA, the customer accesses the Exchange trading platform by direct connection. Finally with model 4, via Co-location, the customer installs its own computer at the Exchange.
