OREANDA-NEWS. August 9, 2011. The second festival of school camps of Zaporozhye region “Summer collects friends” was performed on June 20-21 in health complex “Chayka” on the Khortitsa island.  Approximately 150 children of 24 village schools in order to take part in competitions as for status of the best establishment arrived into health complex “Chayka” of PJSC “Zaporozhtransformator”.  

As mentioned festival organizers, nowadays it is very difficult to provide rest and health improvement of all children of region schools at the seacoast.     Holding of such festivals for organization of rest and health improvement of children is considered to be one of variants. Approximately 300 school camps are organized in region. Almost 16 thousand of children are involved in this way.  Festival is held for the second year and organizers hope that next year they could organize children for full-fledged week rest.
